Default spolier help

Hey guys i currently have the stock spolier on my touring z. I want to get the stillen stage 2 wing, but how does the stock one come off or can it not come off? Also if it does come off are their gonna be holes on my trunk.

Thanks Glen

Watup bro....yea man, you will need to get covers or something to cover the wholes. i got a pic attatched but you can not really see the wholes there. they are about an inch in diameter, maybe SLIGHTLY less. I also want to propose the idea to you regarding the end caps on your wing, you should paint them to match the color of your car, do not leave them alluminum, if thats the one you got. Good Luck. Heres a couple more pics of the wing at this page http://www.cardomain.com/id/ssindhu .

peace,

I did not purchase just the lip, i got a complete lip kit so it came with the side skirts and rear lip as well, and that should run you 700. that is wat the retail is.

I am not sure if the nismo wing will cover up the holes or not, but i am strongly opposed to it, i think the stillen wing is the best WING out there, there are some other spoilers that are a bit more subtle, but if you want showy without tacky, stick to the stillen, and get the end caps painted to match your car.

Whether it covers the holes or not, you should at a minimum get them filled to prevent the possibility of water entering the car underneath the spoiler. Any padding/tape around the edges of the spoiler isn't going to be water-tight, and you don't want your hatch to rust from the inside out. My $0.02.

The Nismo wing does cover up the stock spoiler holes. Jeff at performance said he used silicone to fill the holes and has had no water leaks.
