Default Question for those who ordered replica Ings Half kit

Finally got it in today...tried doing a test fit of the front and rear but it seems really hard to get the parts of the bumper behind the fenders and I'm afraid to force it cuz I don't want to crack it. Maybe I'm just not doing it right...any tips?

I was thinking about getting it preped and painted and putting it on myself...but after seeing its not that easy, I'm having a pro do it. The parts look a lot bigger in person then just looking at them in pictures. Finish looks decent just needs some prep work to smooth little stuff out of the parts. I'll post some pics this weekend if anyone is interested in seeing how they look out of the box.

but they somehow got it on I'm assuming since you got it on your car..duh, dumb question..lol.

I'll leave it in the pro's hands to do it right. I wanted the greddy skirt but it was still on backorder and I just wanted a kit NOW...I look at as I have a full kit instead of a mixed kit now.

i did the install myself, you have to put it on one side at a time and you have to do it real carefully

I can't imagine doing the things I did to my V1 lip to get it on if it was fiberglass and not poly. It would have cracked for sure.

werd maxi...its fiberglass so I'm afraid to force it. Boosted...is the greddy kit fiberglass also?

Is a kit suppose to come with mounting hardware like screws or 3M tape? i didn't look all the way in the box, but I don't think it came with anything to mount it on to the car. Is a screw/3M combo the way they're usually put on? This is my first kit ever for any car I've owned so I'm a newb in this dept.

give it to the shop to install and test fit and all that..because youd rather get it right the first time around..

thanks for the info guys.

Hopefully it fits fine and looks great when done...it would be a great alternative to the real deal 2100.00 Ings Half Kit.

Some places quoted me between 250-600 for paint...they didnt mention any prep. One guy quoted me 1000-1500 for prep, paint and install. I'm gonna try and go Friday after work and get a couple more quotes then drop it off somewhere...most aren't open on Saturdays...thats lame.

fitment, prep, block sand, paint for what I heard and seen it goes from $800 to $1800 for a full kit.
