1. Engineer the rear wiper blade to lift out of the way for window cleaning (just like the fronts)?
.
2. Give us stronger rods
.
3. Provide a luxury option that gave us a nicer interior?
.
4. Offer a premium sound system?
.
5. Allow adding the NAV system any time we want?
.
6. ..............oh hell....I could go on but I feel a little better now.
Thanks for letting me vent.
Anyone else?

Well I add mine. This is Nismo and Nissan
1. Relocate the VDC switch.
2. Give us a complete internals kits(Great they gave us 8.5.1 pistons, what about a higher compression piston.
3. Give us the US Spec Nismo kit. Its been 2 1/2 years now.
4. A higher rev limiter. 6600 wont cut it.
I have more but will save it for someone else to post.

The Z was engineered for the sporty young adult that doesn't mine giving up luxury for performance. Don't get me wrong, the G is also very sporty but it is also the "Higher End" of Nissan.

.............Anyways yeah, that damn hazard switch needs to be moved. And whats up with the gray head liner in a all black interior? And stupid visors, I'm gonna rip mine out if I can't make them look good.
well nicer interior and stereo is argueably the touring model. as for it being an option to all... Ill assume it has to do with mass scale to keep costs down; make 5 seperate cars, not a thousand combinations.
I'll throw a few in.
1. NON-DUSTING Brakes. Replaced mine after 200 miles. Got sick of washing the wheels after driving to the store and back.
2. Crusie Control on the Base Model. Anyone know how I can upgrade to cruise?
3. Def. a better stock stereo and speakers.
4. Get rid of the POS Potenza's.
5. Get rid of the bumpiness, just a little.
6. Clock in the guage area.
I'lll think of some more later.

This thread is kinda dumb. . . . . .
What do you guys think the aftermarket is there for? Because Nissan can build a car that is great for 90% of its customers. If you want more - PAY MORE. Get it done yourselves. If Nissan spent all that time, effort, and money in to engineering all the stuff that you guys have proposed, the car would cost $60k. . .
Want a better interior? Make your own (fiberglass is pretty easy to work with - I swear!). Want a better audio system? What do you think the thousands of car audio shops across the country do for business? Want more power. . . Jeeez, thats pretty obvious, what do you think all those "mods" are for? And what are all you base model people complaining about? Its called the "enthusiast" trim! Shoulda blown the extra 2k!
The only valid point I heard at all is the oil dipstick could be better designed. . . That one would be kinda hard to "aftermarket".

Besides that, I think the RE040s suck (at least in Florida where it rains everytime I drive). Michelin Pilot Sports do very well in water, just look at the reviews between the two tires on tirerack.com. The Pilot Sports also cost the same as the RE040s. The only reason I think the Z got Bridgestones is because Nismo uses Bridgestones on their JGTC racing teams...
And the chipped paint on the front bumper is just ridiculous. No car that I, or my family, have owned have as many paint chips as mine. I only have 5,000 miles and mine has more chips than our cars that have had over 100,000 miles. I know they can't put lead in the paint, so clear bra seems like the only fix. I also don't tailgate behind anyone so I'm not causing the chips through my driving style.
