Talking GOSH! The Sweetest headlight housings on a 350Z!!!

Hiya all,

Well one of our local Northern Cali guys Big-Al from Audiomobile in Oakland has constructed a sweet @$$ headlight housing. I had heard that he was working on something secret, and man I must say this housing is awesome!Q45 upgrade So big props to Big-Al, when are you going to make me a similar set.

Until then I will have to drool over yours.. Ok I'll shut up here are the pictures.. (Thanks to Joe K SpeedyZX for taking the pictures!)

To see more of Joe's pics from the SF OBON festival..

I personally am not a fan but big props on the mod itself. Very original.

damn, impressive. looks kinda like what I wanted to do, but I wanted to use 5w luxeons. be cool to have the first street use LED headlight. if they can use them on prototypes, why not street cars?

Looks like he took the main "Gattling" headlight out of the Q45. Damn cool.

What's with the Eddie Bauer signal light, does it actually blink?

no that eddie bauer light does not blink. the side light that supposed to be underneath that orange strip is now the turn signal. its definitely unique. i didn't even notice that the light was from eddie bauer and i saw it just this weekend.

the wheels in alan's head were churning for this mod for awhile and i'm very glad and impressed that he went through with it.

I actually thought of the same thing when I saw a Q45 headlight conversion done in Japan on a Toyota Aristo almost 2 years ago (Lexus GS over here). The only thing I would've done different is not have blacked out the headlight and left it chrome colored to look a little more factory. Where did he buy just the projector lens?

does the Q45 have adjustable lenses like the FX? I knew some new HID cars just tilt the lens, raising the output of the lights. no highbeams then.
