Sparco Seat Install
Anyone who has replaced their seats, could you give me an idea of how hard the install is, and maybe if i will need any special tools? Im putting in sparco basemounts and sliders, so im going to remove all the stock parts.
Thanks,
Bill

i have recaro's. the install is super easy.
1.disconnect the seat belt sensor underneath the seat.
2. unbolt the seat belt clip from the stock seat and re-attatch it to your new seat rails.
3. unbolt the 4 bolts on the stock brackets (1 in each corner).
4. remove the stock seat.
5. test fit the brackets, to make sure they fit. on one side there is a little dimple that needs to fit into the seat bracket, make sure the hole on the bracket is big enough. on the other side, it's vice versa, the dimple is on the seat bracket, make sure that it fits into the hole on the floor.
6. mount your aftermarket seats to the slider and bracket, make sure that you have attached the seat belt clips.
7. place it in the car and put all 4 bolts back on.
8.reconnect the seat belt sensor.
thats it.

for the seat install, did you use the hardware from the stock seats to mount the sliders to the seat and the sliders to the base mount, or did you buy new hardware. If so, what should i buy.

Quick note... if you have side impact airbags, your airbag malfunction light will be flashing. I haven't had mine fixed yet (paint) but I am pretty sure a factory reset will make it go back off.

Did the new brackets/seats sit at the same level as the stock ones? i.e. any change in headroom?
I have heard brackets tend to raise the seat, and at 6'2", I could use all the headroom I can get.
