Very nice. I was wondering, if there are any problems getting the rear hatch lid to pop open on the first try pushing the trunk open button on the remote. Also, did you get the optional stronger pneumatic struts? Does the trunk stay in the up position if you lift it? Did you remove the rear hatch weight while installing the wing as pictured here?:

I would like to know as well. I am not paying an additional $229 on top of what the wing costs!

damn. i'm not too crazy about the us version. i just got mine and have to get it painted and installed now. i liked the previous one better, it was a lot more aggressive. i'm not sure it's worth 600 after painting and install. if i've seen pictures before buying, i might have reconsidered. what's with that bowed effect in the middle.

Looks great. I also like the JDM version more, but the U.S. version wont chip the paint because it doesent touch, so thats good.

6months after I installed my JDM replica wing. I have no problem with the tip issue. The tips of the JDM replica rear wing I have is NOT touching the lid. It has about 2mm gap there. And then I put a 2 mm clear Furniture bumper I brought it from Home Depot (still 1 to 2 mm gap from the bumper to the lid, because it is not close to the tip), So even I hit a speed bump, only the Furnitre bumper might hit the paint, not the wing.

Its lookin hot though!

and the lifters are worth it, even though you remove that weight it doesnt help lift the hatch... and those with a Veilside wing or another heavier wing, its really helpful..

Humph crap. I have my US Spec spoiler on the way now, and I bought it from Z1 Auto and have already been a serious pain in Adam's ***. I don't think I like the US as much as the JDM one. It looks like the JDM is much thinner and more "Knife edged" in the middle. The US one looks almost rounded. Ahh well we'll see how it looks when it's on the car. Also looks like it bows in at the middle. Oh well, reminds me a little more of the G35 wing but lifted up a little. We shall see.

ok, i decided to stick with the us nismo wing. took it to the body shop we put it up on the car and the arc on the wing doesn't seem to match the ark on the hatch. does it just look like that because its sitting up on bolts and not flush on the hatch? is it supposed to be alligned with the edge or a bit back? i'm sure its intended to be like that but i just want to double check before i give them the go ahead to paint it.
thanks

Anybody have a template I can print out? I just got my wing from China and they didn't send a template. Or maybe someone has a link to a printable version of directions. Please help.

Yes. I have genuine JDM Nismo.
2 outside stock spoiler holes weren't covered by Nismo. so i had to do fill those wholes, sand, paint.

yeah, i dont know if it is just the photos i have seen, but it does seem like the center of the wing is sagging. imho, i think the jdm one is nicer.

i am not sure why nismo decided to change the side skirts and wing for the us market.
