I just installed my Hawker Odyssey PC680 w/metal jacket:
Price: Approx $100 including brass SAE terminals
Weight: Approx 15.5lbs
Power: Enough to crank the engine, but not enough to run accessories with engine off. Don't know how well it will handle the colder winters, so we'll see.
Durability: Not known...I just got mine.
Quality: Looks top notch.
For the time being, I have to use a block of wood to prop up the battery so that the hold-down could keep the battery secure. It looks really guetto, but it works. I'll probably try fabricating a custom hold-down similar to Vlad's.

same here. just installed the odyssey pc680. no metal jacket. weight is 14.7lbs. i think we could of gotten aways with a pc535 which only weights 12lbs. but the cranking power is a lot lower.
so far so good, but u really wont be able to run anything with the car off. it'll discharge completely within 18minutes. that and i noticed the battery gauge is never above 12.8v and does dip as low as 12v on cold starts. the stock battery was at a consistant 13.2v.
bracket was pretty easy to make for the battery, just time consuming.

the odyssey battery has less cranking power then the stock battery, less cold cranking amps then the stock battery, it can be mounted in any way except for upside down and weights about 20-25lbs less then the stock battery. then again, you dont need all that added cranking power. its "surplus".
i've ran the cd player (blows system) for about 3 hours before while working on my car without draining the stock battery. just to give you an idea.
this battery is really a harley battery. its about 1/3 the size of our stock battery, but will meet specs for our car.
