ok my birthday is coming up in a month and my girlfriend wants to buy me a lip kit for my birthday...original idea when i first got my car was to get the cwest CF lip kit cause i thought it would look great on silverstone....come to find out i talked to some people and everyone said CF cracks way too easy when it comes to a lip kit...so now im like ok ill just get a paintable lip kit that is urethane since urethane is super strong...so now im considering the greddy lip kit...but i talked to some people and they said urethane is a pain in the AZZ to paint...the paint doesnt stick and it flakes very easy and what not...so thats not good! part of the reason i wanted to get CF was that i wouldnt have to go through the hassle of painting it...so now im considering the veilside V1 CF lip kit cause it doesnt stick out as far on the car which would be less chances of cracking...just this is a super hard decision for me...then i also really like the vertex lip kit but i dont know how good itll look on silverstone...and plus its a $$ kit and add paint to that your lookin at around 2gs...too much $ for me...im not all about show...but i do want a nice lookin car...just sumthin clean...now im considering just going with that $150 ABS lip they sell on ebay and intensepower.com and just get a front lip and thats it...what should i do!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Veilside 1 lip (I'm sure I spelled it wrong) or maybe the Nismo front end looks nice. I have a Silverstone with a Kaminari hood w/scoop and I'd like to add the Veilside lip.

why not get urethane? well a couple reasons....well first reason is like i said in my previous post...i think CF looks GREAT on silverstone...also under my hood i have cf engine cover, coolingplate...jic cf strut bar and soon to get unlimited tunings carbon fiber intake pipe so i kinda wanna keep a cf theme going...also when it comes to urethane i heard its very strong but i also heard it chips and flakes very easy...i might be wrong but i just dont wanna paint sumthin then have it mess up on me..this way with CF whether i get cwest or veilside i dont need to worry bout painting it but itll still look great...well in my own opinion anyways

urethane should not be a problem to paint.
just bring it to a bodyshop that knows what they are doing. the lip and sideskirts on my car are urethane, the bodyshop had no problems whatsoever.
