Default How to get at the rear turn signal bulbs?

Got some LED bulbs and want to replace the stock ones. Took a look at the rear plastics and they seen not to go low enuf to get at the bulbs. Don't see a way to get at them from the outside under the car.

So...how do you get at them?

First look on top of each taillight and you will see 3 caps covering 3 bolts. pop up the caps with a flat screwdriver and you will see 3 bolts, I can't rememer if they were 8 or 10mm each but unbolt them. then pop out the taillight, it will require some force since there are clips holding it in. pull out the tailight and you will see the bulb down within the bumper. twist and pull out the bulb out of the socket and there you go. hope this helps.

The socket is 10mm. Pull the taillight diagonally away from the side of the car. The clips are diagonal like this /.

They are, which makes me wonder how liable one is in an accident if their signal is too dim, would the cop make that judgement?

Anyhow, if you want LEDs, I'd go with the one Ares makes (http://www.rasecreations.com)

Yeah,

I have Ares 7440 LED set in the front. I like the output, bright enough for me. Plus I like the lack of orange in the headlamp. Now if I can just find some clear reflector strips and someone to split my headlamps for me...
