side view mirrors
Sup,
I was washing my car over the weekend and I bumped into my sideview mirror while walking by it. The entire fixture moved. It just shifted forward. I freaked out and pushed it back. There was no damage done. Are those mirrors supposed to move? I could not get it to move again. There was no click or anything like that. The mirror doesn't rattle....what's up?

Gosh, it's been a while...and my car is in the shop or I'd walk outside and be able to tell you. But many cars, and...I think...our Z does have that feature to the mirrors. They are designed to sort of "break away" if bumped hard in order to protect them from either cracking or doing damage to the door where they are mounted. You should be able to tell by looking closely at them...or...just slam into it real hard and see what happens...JK
