I can't find any clears at StrictlyZ.com. I just recently bought some from japanparts...hopefully they'll be here soon.

If you make something like the show car, I'd definitely be interested. The LED idea is pretty cool.

Sorry if this is a re-post, but check out http://www.clearcorners.com/products/nissan/350ZX3/ . Somebody else has already thought of it. They look really cool, but are pretty expensive. I'll be anxious to see the LED upper tail light sections when they get them done.

make it just like it is shown on the concept... the chrome look will blend in with the emblem and the door handles very nicely!

so when are they making the one inside the headlight?? I would like an orange turning light, but i think that part whited out would look nice. 100 Sounds steep for a clear reflectors and some cheapo LED lights.....

I agree with Shift_Speed. Brushed chrome, with 4 or 5 amber led's will really look cool. But I guess it'll cost more for brushed aluminum.

I can make a brushed aluminum turnsignal cover you just GLUE onto the existing housing. Remove the orange housing, stick on the aluminum one.

Hmm if i took a piece of plexi and glued it behind the brushed that would work.

I'll be getting clear reflectors in about a month.

My plan is to make the whole thing produce soft white glow (not bright) at night while parkng lights are on.... and then light up amber when turnsignals are active.

The amber is bright enough to drown the white glow... so it'll be all good.

If you made the LED lights line up like this:

0
0
0
0
0

where the black '0's are white and runing all teh time while the orange '0's only come on when the blinkers turn on. So the white ones will run and keep the traditional "3" of everything look.

BTW this would be without the meatal housing but if you had the metal housing how about this.

where the amber ones would barely peek out so when tehy werent lit up you wouldnt notice a hole.

That LED signal pattern can be done. But I'm afraid 2 orange LED is not enough. Rather use all 5 White LED in two way. Stay on all the time and when try to make turn lights on, it will blink. New update on this light. It turn out too expensive to make it in ABS finish. It also takes too long to make it. I have talk to a company who makes very strong carbon fiber products. They're willing to make this for me.
What do you guys think? carbin fiber? It is lighter...
If want it in sliver finish, I'll make some painted. Let me know.

Sorry guys. It took so long. I'm still waiting for my first sample to be done. Right now it is under test fit. I want it to be perfect.
