Permanent stain/film on inside of headlamps!

Permanent stain/film on inside of headlamps!

how has anyone resolve this? i don't believe that there is a tsb on this problem and my dealer is fugging the problem saying it's a 'hard water' stain!?!

I have the same issue. have not seen the dealer yet, but about a year ago I had both headlamps replaced due to similar problem where there were hundreds of small hairline cracks in the plastic.

Mine have the problem, did the dealer say what the problem was?

Said it was related to heat buildup. The car being outside. Atlanta gets pretty hot so they said the plastic essentially melted.

Hey, I've got the same problem!! I thought it was pretty odd...I guess I should bring the car in for a replacement set.

is this around where the low beam hits? Mine seems to have a smal circle that looks like a rain drop (in shape) size is a about the size of a dollar coin.
