that weave on the hood is pretty banged up ....

could we please get some shots of the whole front of the car so we can get a perspective of what it really looks like

and also let us know which bulbs are needed to be able to have it painted like that but with oem quality light output

 

I left the reflectors on the high and low beam unpainted. I upgraded to Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and what an improvement!

somone please post some frontal pics so i can get an idea of what this looks like. my local custom body shop will paint my headlight surrounds if i remove & disassemble my lights myslef. they said they'd do any form of black (matte or gloss) for $60. but i want to see more pics 1st......i wanted my headlights blacked out since the day i purchased my car!.....PICS!

is anyone worried that the paint will peal or crack over time due to the intense heat?

 

well, if you get high-temp heat paint, you have nothing to worry about, i don't know about the other paints, since i haven't tried using them.
