Default Aftermarket racing seats don't work with airbags?

Can anyone confirm if this is true or not. A source of mine told me that if I were to get some Bride seats ... my airbags would no longer work because I originally picked up the option of getting the side airbags (seats). Since the ECU can no longer figure out where those airbags are, it triggers something causing none of the airbags to work. Is this true? If so, is there a way around this?

Nice, what is it exactly? I'm really interested in getting some Bride seats.

It is a couple of resistors that will fool the car into thinking the airbag is still there.

I got it from www.airbagonoff.com
talk to Bob, it was $30 per seat.

Evolution Autosports installed mine, they made their own resistors and I've had no problems. Without the resistors your airbag light will stay on.
