Default I need TAPE, GLUE, and LOTS OF IT!!!

Hey guys,
Ok, well, I really only need a little advice, but at least you're reading this now!

All of my front/rear badges were removed when my Vizage kit went on. I'd like to get the "350z" badge re-installed on the back, and maybe the Courtesy "Z" emblems front/rear. My big question is what kind of tape is used for this. I found some double-sided 3m "emblem tape" at my local auto parts store, but it's the foam kind, and it looks as if it will be too thick, to the point that the emblems will stick up off the surface of the car. Can anybody point me in the right direction here, and maybe list a part number or picture of the right stuff to use so that my emblems don't fall off? Thanks for reading!!!

funny thing is i took off my 350z emblem and changed it to z33 myself. I used floss to remove , cleaned up the tape residue with goof off, used the regular double stick 3m tape by shaving off overlays with a razor. So there wouldnt be a overlaying line of white underneath from the double stick tape i used a silver sharpie pen to color it all silver and now they are even thicker looking than the stock ones. It worked welll for my ghetto College student ways.

hmm if you're buying new emblems, they'll come with double-sided tape

otherwise, 3m external use heavy duty double-sided tape (found @ walmart) works just as well... i have the body panel stuff too but it's overkill for emblems

Yeah, I am buying some new emblems (replacing the Nissan hamburgers), but I want to re-use the 350z emblem as well.

Anyone know what kind of tape is used on the Veilside front lip?
My V1 doesn't exactly fit as perfect as I would like.

use 3M06397 acrylic tape. this is the best stuff. its .06 thick & really helps if the mating surfaces arent exact. plus its an all weather tape with super adhesion.....
