What color would you guys recommend for DB? Black is too boring for me.

I figured if a silverstone Z can look good with pumpkin orange, of all colors, a medium to deep red would look killer.

BTW: Do you have any close shots of the armrests and shiftboot? Having those pieces matching the seat never really cross my mind before but now its a definite possibility.
Regarding the inspiration, have you seen the movie "Family Man"? He was driving a dark silver(like silverstone) 550 Maranello with deep red - colored seats. Ever since watching that movie, I had always wanted to have the same color combination as it looked so sexy yet sophisticated. Granted the 350Z is no 550, but I do what I can .

I'll take some close ups of the armrests and shift boot as soon as I get a chance.

Have you tried going to leatherseats's website and checking out the illustrated colors. Maybe that will give you an idea...

YES I saw that movie. That Maranello was niiiice! I know most ferrari's have the tan or black interior but that combo was screaming sporty and sophisticated.

Jim... heheh it'll look great on Chrome silver.

GQ 350z,
If I had a daytona Blue I'd go graphite to dark grey seats. Maybe really really dark blue inserts like they have as an option on the new AMG line of Mercedes cars. If you go to the Mercedes website, click on like a CLK55.... or any variant 55 and cycle through the color combos they have.

Thanks for the input. Now that you say it that would be really hot--dark grey/graphite would go with my rims too (colorwise).

I really like that idea for a DB. Along with the dark blue inserts, I think it would look really nice. Either way, good luck on finding your color combo.

Those are sweet!! I wanted "blood" red at first but only had luck finding maroon or fire-engine red; no Imola. I still love my two-tone but you just confirmed that SS, with the proper shade of red interior, is a gorgeous combo. Nicely installed too

He drove down here (about a 4-5 hour drive) on Saturday, took both seats apart and put them back together. Drove me to the hardware store when we needed extra bolts to replace some that I had stripped earlier (without knowledge). And then ended up driving back home after dark.
That makes me happy to see that there are people who run their businesses like this.

350zluvr, I was wondering if you could take a few pictures with a higher quality camera.

Thanks

Yes, I have always wondered how the back of a 'leatherseats.com' conversion looked like.

Is it a zipper? Or does it look like factory?
