Default Painted Grill (photoshopped)

I was in an accident and have to get my front bumper replaced. The repair shop suggested painting the black grill to match the car paint. He says it looked real nice on the pearl and yellow colors. Have any of you guys done this already? got pics? I'm thinking about it, just wanted other people's opinion. Right now, I just have the chrome door trim on there.
Here are some photoshopped of how I think it would look. Maybe someone has a better picture.

Same here, i was involved in an accident and i got my front grill painted, and it looked good. remember to also have them paint the little part that pops out to put the tow hook in.

I've always thought of this as the paint/body shop being too lazy to tape off the black part and instead just sprayed the entire bumper.

Looks like i'm the only one here who thinks this looks cheap. Especially w/ the vertical slats painted as well... but i can see how only painting the horizontal strips may appeal to some ppl... but it's not for me.

actually, why not try painting just the center bar on the grill... ?

it'll resemble the nismo bumper and should look great

I just think that the black looks cheap, and looks like a black hole. With the blue, it gives it a subtle effect, ties everything together. I was kinda thinking that it might look cool in silver, but that may be too much. anyways, It looks good, better in person though. but i'm sure i'm the only one that will ever notice for daily driving.
