Default Need opinions/advice on springs...NOW!

Normally I'd be searching for hours to do my homework...this time I could use some help with quick responses. Here's the deal: Had ordered the Veilside front lip...had problems getting it in...now after some deliberation I've decided lowering the car and sticking with stock lip will accomplish better overall look I want. Here is what I think I'm looking for and why...then please throw me your thougts.

I'm running 295s rear and 275's fronts on 25+ offsets. Buddy is running the same and put B&G lowering springs on and said no rub even on hard cornering and bumps due to independent suspension. I love the look of his setup and might do the same but wanted to get some additional feedback. I may autocross mine setup with the wheels I mentioned, so I NEED to be sure I'll be OK...and there is some conflicting info. I'm told by a distributor the B&G drop is 1.4" whereas my buddy says he measured and there was only a true 1" drop. I can't imagine there being that much settling...so something is up with those numbers! Also, buddy said with these springs he can't get the alignment quite right...said fronts are about 2 degrees off even after alignment...distributer says you have to drop more than 1.5" to have problem with camber outside of an alignment? So...I guess I'm looking to have information either confirmed or denied as to how far I can drop without problems. Note that I am looking for the best daily ride (reduce porpusing) while improving performace if tracked. Additionally, I do not want to have to spend additional money on various other suspension accessories in order to account for an ill side effect of dropping too far. Throw me some suggestions and related costs for consideration...want to make decision VERY soon! Thanks.

RSR springs or Cusco springs would work well.

I have a set of eibach, which now I wish I got a set of coilovers. Since I play hard at times, I want adjustablity and better balance.

So I would suggest getting a set of nice coilovers and doing it right from the beginning.
