Question jdm sports horns

Just installed them (without removing bumper!), and i like the high pitch, but they aren't loud enough for me, so i'd like to install both the oem and sports horns together. Anyone know how to do this? I figure i need a splitter of some sort.

Install a fog horn.

That should scare anyone in your way. I can't find my other post where this guy is using a fog horn and scaring the crap out of people.

Rather than spend more money on another horn, i'd like to try to put these oem ones to use instead of tossing them in the trash. i'm saving up for a reflash.

If you know any alarm installers, they can probably wire up a relay off the main horn wire and tap off the 12v to power them, so it doesn't overload the normal horn circuit. Shouldn't be that much to do. Probably sound funky though with 4 horns.

Last year I was researching into installing Fire Engine horn. I couldn't find one for sale. Most places would only sell in bulk and some would only sell to official city/town offices.

I think having a train's horn would be bad@ss. That would scare the crap out of people and make them think a train is about to plow through them, lol. How much would one of those go for if you know?

I never could get anybody to quote a price, but I didn't really try that hard. I would imagine it would run at least $300+.

If you can determine what kind of power the horns draw, then you can determine if its required to run a new circuit (via a relay).

I would argue since you don't plan on laying on the horn a lot (ie for more than a few seconds at a time), you probably wouldn't need to run a new circuit unless you are putting in airhorns.

I had 4 horns on my old '78 honda civic and never had a problem.

But, you should look at getting a fire truck horn - I just want to know someone thats done this...so I can get up the ***** to do it.

I'll check on the power draw.
Re fire truck horn, for $300, I'll stick to my little nissan asian hooters, but good luck, and keep us posted.
