Thumbs up Coulple of Minor MODS Going On...

Since we all know what a "pain n the azz" it is just to replace a friggin bulb in our rides...
(removing the front tires & inner wheel-well shield)
I figured the next time I changed ANY bulb, I would go ahead and slap in some Sylvania SilverStar high-beams. These along with my just arrived MATRIX l.e.d.'s from Superlumunation.
My cars in the shop right now, so probably will start on this tomorrow or Friday...

They look funky all 'blown-up' in this pic, but they look pretty cool in person, and I'm sure they will have a nice "effect" at dusk before I fire up the xenons!

how bright are these LEDs? they look great in the pic

I've wanted to do LED turn signals for a really long time too, but the only reasonably priced alternative are non-luxeon LEDs... which are too dim for street use (may present a safety hazard IMO)

Installed.

They actually are about equal in brightness to the luxeons I had previously. But the luxeons were 1 and these are like 5! Oh well.. beats the "creamy halogens" any day.

HID/parking light contrast:

the parking light is actually bluer than the stock HIDs, oh well, a lot better than the halogen yellow!

Yes, they are pretty cool looking.

Only thing is, they don't seem to last too long... (they burn out quick).
