I have just bought my Z and its magic but I have a question to you all. Between 1st and second I find that its very sticky and it almost feel that the gear is grabing. Is this normal ?
Sometimes when you drive slow and change gears slowly it does not happen. Can anybody give me some guidence please if this is normal or just my imagination. Or can the dealers do something about this.

 

From my personal experience, hard shiffting to second occurs at 3 scenarios. First, when the car is still cold (early morning). Second, is you are spinnign your wheels it will be very difficult to shift while spinnig. And last, if you have a sinchro problem(unlikely to happen if car is new!)

The car is normallly still cold but the outside temp in africa is not cold at all we look at 20 deg and why only 2nd and not 3rd or the rest?
No it is not in spinning it might be sinchro related then?
