I think you need to get the group buy sponsored by a my350z vendor. Also, you might need to get a Premier Member to start the thread and/or be a Premier Member yourself to participate at all. Mods are still working on what the new rules will be.

Post it on one of the other 350z websites (perhaps the one that ends with "motoring")

Well that sucks, if anyone here is interested PM me about it. And I'm way ahead of ya...

Getting rid of group buys is big mistake... sponsor only group buys might be good for the forum but member group buys are good for the comunity. And if the forum no longer serves the comunity well it will surely die... Starting to look like the fall of rome...

It's just my opinion, don't ban me for it.

Take it easy,
West.

He did post it on tech. Dunno about motoring.

I closed it and deleted it. Group buys aren't allowed for regular members at this time and that wasn't the right section (if you had posted it in the right section you would have seen the announcement regarding group buys).

This is a fairly well covered topic. Check this section, we explain it in one of the threads.

Seems like the group buy thing will be hard to enforce against non-members. Most group buys appear on more than one site. Also, one could just PM the group buy organizer to get on the list.

I'm still watching this as are others. And, the Admins are working on it. Ultimately, I don't see how group buys could not be allowed to all members without people moving to other sites to do buys as well as to see what's available.

Let's wait and see what comes up.

The board adv. probably think that it hurts them so they complain. Grouping together to get a better price miight effect their market. This happens on large sites that rely on adv. income. Fact of life. I may be censored but thats the way the world turns.

well whatever happens, at least let the guy know that his post was deleted and why!
Just deleting it is poor. I realize it is more work for you but it is the result of your own policies.

Great point! At other forums, if posts are deleted or modified, the member is advised.

I closed it and posted...if I left it up another day or two...more people would find out about it.

I figured he knew about the group buy announcement but apparently he didn't.
