that would make the site very limited, and I bet you a lot of poeple would move to a different site (me included).

Trust me, you ain't missing much.

I have also seen many restrictions in many sites. Which has a direct proportion to their traffic. And traffic brings you adds and sponsors. So high traffic is a good ($$$) thing. People vote with their feet. When the fees and restrictions start to appear, more and more people will walk away, and many other forums get bigger, and life goes on.

I still remember when there was only one forum to go to. Now there are three or four with quite high volume, so it is not 1000 post here and 30 there, now is more like 1000 here and 500 there.

So don't hurt the site. The forum traffic MAKES the site. It is what gets you paying sponsors and ads. Retrict, limit traffic, YOU (My350Z.com) loose.

 

Oh, and one of the reasons I became a member (besides supporting the site) was to get rid of the stupid banner asking me to be a premium member! Isn't there a way that Premium Members don't have to see that banner??

hey guys, this is a suggestion, im not dissin' anyone. im very detail oriented and i just wanted to let you guys know that everytime i get on this website i always see the thread title and it says "preimum" isnt it supposed to be "premium"? like i said, im detail oriented and i bothers me...im like monk...lol....

 

I dunno maybe its just the computers out in the desert are wierd but I can't use the search function for some reason. No matter what I type in it comes back w/ no results found! I can type in "Headers" and I get nothing! Oh yeah and the premium membership thing I think is stupid! Someone is making some money! Maybe its just me but I think the trafic has gone down since this whole premier member thing kicked off! just my .02

 

Of course someone is making money, this site is operational isn't it? Things cost money and this staff has to find a way to pay for that. It can't run on love of a community alone.
