I have RoadRunner as well (...cfl.rr.com) but I still receive notifications
from 350Zmotoring.com and my clubs site ozoc.org

I didn't know until my wife told me that she was surprised I hadn’t been on the "car site" in a while. I bet she's enjoying the down time

If this is common with a particular ISP, that ISP may be doing reverse DNS lookups on the server sending the email, this is an anti spam technique.

If this is the case, the server sending mail for my350z.com will need an MX record and a reverse lookup record. The reverse lookup record will have to be added by the my350z.com ISP as it's an ip to name record.

so this a problem that my350z.com has to fix and not the individual trying to receive the messages?

I used to get the notifications before with out a problem. Then about one week ago they just stoped.

It get's to be a pain in the butt to have to go threw all of your subscribed threads manualy to keep up to date on things.

 

Is there anything we can do or do we have to wait on the MODS to take care of it?

I still get the ones from the southeast forms...but thats it ,I feel you... it sucks to go back in to every thread manualy to stay up dated...
