Maybe it IS a good idea to change the way we act towards newcomers, and take advantage of the massive amount of info we have on this site.

 

i have to agree that some premier members take the law into their own hand and be very hostile to other member/s. There is only few new coming member act stupid and annoy people.

Just chill out and enjoy your time up here. As said many times, if you don't like to respond, just skip it.

 

Funny how they arent hosting a "Player Haters Ball" yet all they do is hate on my350z.com, funny how that works out.


And think about it like this, we have at least 5 times the members they do, and how many mods/admins? I really do think if we had more mods to "babysit" all the time we could have sunshine and rainbows and hugs and kisses all the time too.

 

maybe because they are a bit more mature and don't believe in harassing other members just because they are new and may be seeking information? so what about the member numbers, that means not a thing at all. i see no hate towards this board there, just pointing out things that get deleted or edited here. bickering between forums is stupid, but so is harassing new members just because you are a "premier" member because you paid for an avatar.

 

Can't win with them. Even if we do something good, they'll try to find something bad to say about this site. I (and the bulk of this site) have no ill will towards them, but they have a plethora of ill will towards us at this site.

The issue I see on their site currently is that we are either too lenient by allowing unruly bashing and obtrusive behavior here (thus they want to direct undesirable traffic to our site), or we are considered to be overmoderating, censorship mongers that are strict with everything. Both scenarios contradict each other... like I said, can't win with them...
