I agree. Sales on my350z has definately changed for the worse as the Vendor section is cluttered with people bumping their threads every day and posting 10 individual items at one time.

At what point do the moderators just do an automatic consolidation on the classifieds? 1 or 2 or even 3 ads I can understand - but eighteen - come on now........if that is considered "acceptable", we've got enough stuff in stock that I could make every post in the engine section, or suspension section a Z1 thread - I am sure the other vendors would not like this (and it's not something I'd ever do) - but get my point?

Maybe if certain people concentrated on the forum instead of spam links or deleting and rewriting sigs.

An admin did this below, hard to believe:

I noticed a few companies doing this again. I reported the threads yestrday in hopes they would combine them, but no luck as of yet.

Why do companies need 10+ threads? I like having 1 thread, much easier to maintain.

yep - like I said, I can deal with people having 2 or 3 threads even. I mean, you may have totally unrelated products available for a given section (like brakes and coilovers), so a couple threads might be appropriate. But jeez.....18 in a give section - when did this become myinvision350z.com......

Over the past couple of weeks I've asked some of the sponsors to consolidate but apparently they didn't get the message. I've decided to implement a hard cap on active threads. The Vendor Classfieds guidelines have been updated to reflect the new rules. If any of you guys see further abuse or violation please PM or email me so I can take care of the situation.

I couldn't agree more with you guys. I for one will not buy from someone on this site that adds nothing to the forum other than a BUMPTIZZLE.

To me you need to be a respected member who also goes out of your way to help others, thats who gets my money.

True - I check the Marketplace a couple times a day and would regularly report them when they got out of hand.

There's a few but it doesn't really bother me enough to report them since I only have 2 threads. They have consolidated most of them.

I now see other vendors have jumped on this bandwagon too, and making 6, 7, 8, 9 10 individual posts for items like wheels in the same category

How hard is it to just make 1 post......

A general remark/question without posting a new thread.

Don't you think the vendor classifieds need a dedicated exhaust section instead of lumping everything into "Engine"........
