What the **** is so hard about posting in the correct forum, NOOBS!!
What if someone has an urgent problem they need help and even after searching they can't find a thread that's already been created that answers their question? Perhaps in this situation, it would discourage new members. Ultimately be a pity. My 02 cents anyway.

more evidence as to why this needs to be done.

I totally agree on the 14 days to post but not start new threads.... Admins are you getting this... I haven't had to post any questions because if you do a SEARCH you will find an answer!

I think no posts for one week, and no threads for two weeks would work.

Actually, it is hard to change Human Nature and nothing will totally solve the problem and right or wrong, peoples conceptions are different
Who cares? Don't you guys have anything better to do than pick on the new guy.. Remember.. You guys were all new at one point or another.. Telling them.. to use the search button is one thing but being a d*ck about it is another..

people complain that you have to sift through posts when you use the search function. This is the main reason why so much GARBAGE comes up.

It has nothing to do with someone being new. There are plenty of new people who integrate just fine into the forums. And then there are those that don't use the info here and want everything given to them now and on a silver plate.
Why reinvent the wheel everytime the price of used Z's goes down so kids can afford it, and they register?

Stick around for 3 years and you will see why many of us are a bit tough on new members.
Im all for a guy wanting to learn, but proof of they're dedication to want to learn is based on exhausting other avenues before expecting someone else to do their work for them.
Then---- all to often, when u take the time to explain something, there is not so much as a FU, thank you very much.
I feel VIOLATED and USED like a 2 dollar *****

Okay.. I can understand that but.. Some of u guys geez.. your all sorts of d*cks to the guy who did repost or did do this.. calm down a little and say it nicer.. i mean.. that's how you also turn people off to this site..
so what ever happend to this 'wait' period? i think its a great idea. i actually just posted in another thread about have a 'wait period' kus some noob posted some dumb ****. like 'what wheel is this'? type ****.
heres what i think. maybe like a 7 day no post period. 14 day no new thread period. BUT! they should be able to start a new thread in the 'new owners' area. for those of them who actually just bought a Z, i know they love to share. i know i did.

i guess new members are deprived from the use of a public forum for a limited time. it is just like a attending a class where you can't say anything or do nothing but just to read or listen and let the genius/smart people do the talking. my .02cents
