Default Multi-Quote Reply Feature

Hey guys, a simple addition to the forum would be the multi-quote function. Of all the forums I frequent, I have only seen it on preludepower.com. It allows you to select multiple posts, and when you hit "Reply", it has each of those posts nicely quoted out for you in your response. Currently we can only quote one post without needing to create a [QUOTE] ourselves.

Not sure if anyone has brought this up, but I think it would be a handy addition to our site.

Thanks for reading!

Matt

That would require a forum upgrade. Look at the bottom of the forum page.

preludepower.com is probably 3.6.7 or 3.6.8.

Indeed. Wasn't sure how items or features are handled in a forum infrastructure. You have enlightened me, thanks!

Shutting the site down, going through the upgrade process to update the code, testing to make sure everything that was altered works, etc... If an area was customized and the upgrade reverted the code, that'll have to be updated again, etc..

Can take several hours to several days depending on the complexity of the udpates.

As long as the current license is up to date and valid, no. If they let the license expire, then they have to pay to re-activate it so they can access the patches and update.

No it isn't, see I just did it! But still, that must be an awesome club. I heard their admin is the bomb and has all sorts of cool stuff setup.
