Problem solved.
edit - You can always report their posts with a note saying that their avatar may not be suitable. However, keep in mind that we do not allow nudity, not NSFW materials. That is, if we don't see nip slips or anything like that, we don't edit their avatar.

I'm going to have to agree for the time being, that the best way to deal with NSFW avatars if they are putting you in jeopardy of getting in trouble at work, is to disable them.
I understand that many people identify others by their avatars, but you should at least know their screen name as well. If it is a serious issue: don't compromise. Set avatars to off.

Disable avatars at work. It's the only reasonable option. The fact that this arguing has gone on for 17 pages now, tells me that there are way too many whiny libs on this board, lol (joke).

It's not for me. Only admins can have such delectible treats. Us lowly mods and super mods are stuck with stew made from bones of the babies admins left behind. Sometimes we get some leftover meats, but only on Christmas.
What makes it diffcult with these avatars at issue is that they are not black and white but mostly in a grey area in regards to whether work safe or not. When I had my avatar removed on g35driver it was for "implied nudity" not nudity. Fine lines are being drawn on a case by case basis. Theres really not a better solution than to be prudent with your choice of avatar and if u r concerned at work, disable avatars, as many have already said.

Its funny, because in America, violence is more accepted in our culture than nudity is (quite the opposite in many foreign countries, especially the european ones).
