I like the points system just because it gives you a little bit of an idea about how active a person has been on the forum but I don't make a decision about whether to trust someone's opinion based on them. I read what everyone says and make an educated decision based on what I can pull out of everyone's opinions. I say leave the counter on because it doens't hurt anything. Anybody who disregards what someone with not many posts says just because they don't have many posts is ignorant any ways, so who cares.
