I dunno but the "NEW" site is running slow. Pages don't load as fast as the old one.

It appears that google syndication is holding up page load sometimes; but other than that it's rather quick.

The hell it's not. I am counting in seconds how much time it takes me to load up googlesyndication stuff on each page load versus the native content. It's breaking the page right at the top banner, "waiting for google syndication".

 

I was watching the bottom and it didn't appear that google was holding it up. there are other folk hanging out as well.

Personally, I don't see any difference in speed, but that could be due to the fact that I don't see the "google syndication."
