Question can we directly reply to a post in a thread?

or are we only able to reply at the end of the thread?

Sorry but I'm new to this forums format, if there is any way to reply directly to a post inside a thread instead of replying ten spaces down it would be helpful to know how.

Thanks...

on the bottom right hand corner of every post there is a button that says "quote"...click that and it will take you to a reply page with the users comment that you want to reply to

ppl do this even when its on a different page..its the only way

Admin has recently enabled a "Quick Reply" at the bottom of the thread. This way you won't have to worry about hitting reply every time. Makes things eaisier.

BTW, thread moved.

Question nope, didn't work...

... what I wanted to know is if we can reply directly under the post in the thread which we are replying to instead of posting several pplaces down or even on another page.

It's very confusing following a thread with people posting replies all over the thread.

Say you replied to a post and then seven other people replied to the same post you just replied to. If I wanted to reply to your post I would way down the list or be on another page and not under your post which I'd like.

Any way to do that?

nope, you can quote so its easy to see who your replying to, but it always goes at the end. only way to organize it...

otherwise you gotta read the whole thread every time looking for new posts.

Best (and only) way to do it is to have the quote that you are referencing/replying to above in bold so that your reply will coincide with the post (done by pressing "Quote" button). In that way, your reply will make sense as a direct response to an exact quote.
