Bad Fellowship
Im making this post in hopes that the moderators of this forum take action.
I have been on this forum since march 08 and from day 1, i have noticed that there is a serious amount of unnecessary bashing among members. i am usually not one to complain but i feel that this kind of fellowship makes us 350z owners look bad. yes, we do own and drive a nice little sports car but there is no reason why anyone here should make it seem like they are better than others.
i agree that many new members ask questions that have been asked numerous amount of times but many of the responses are childish and rude. i believe that we can politely share our knowledge and guide members in a constructive way. For example, if a member posts a thread and we know that it can be found in the search function, we should help by searching and then suggest that they search next time. lead by example. eventually, all the post-whoring and jokes in the previous threads will show up in searches, thus making it harder to find narrow answers.
Again, i dont like complaining but im just hoping that there are others like me that do not want to fall into a community where people are snobby jackasses because of the car we drive. so moderators, please take this into consideration and lets straighten this forum up a little bit.

Thank you for your feedback. We are currently understaffed, but will be hiring new Moderators this month. With such a large forum, it does make it difficult to see every infraction. There are all types of posters on this forum. Young, old, immature, and mature alike. For the most part, we try to enforce the TOU(Terms of Use) as best we can. We however can not stop everyone from making comments that may or may not contribute to the topic at hand. All I can say is to have thick skin, learn not to let individual's demeanors effect you, and go with the flow. Feel free to use witty sarcasm in leu of direct attacks or vulgarity, if you feel the need to insult someone in return.
May I also point out that there is a small triangle icon located under the user's name. This is the report post button. If you feel a poster has violated one of the TOU, you can click on the icon and follow the instructions. The incident report is automatically forwarded to the Moderator in charge of that particular section. This is the main way, we, staff find out about TOU violations.
