Yeah, the last part is missing. EJ posted some quotes from me and I responded. Anyone have those? I'm trying to get to 3000 posts again (after Vic wiped out about 250 of mine with his off topic dump......Vic, didn't you realize that MY posts were in there!!!

FYI...before the thread was accidently deleted I had already removed FFP's post, which was definately a wrong thing for them to do. I also find it unethical to post a person's private signed invoices on the internet. As jesseenglish pointed out, they simply could have worded the post as an invitation to come to their shop and mentioned the discount. There was no need to rehash this. I'm not sure about a ban yet...we had to warn Max like three times to let up on this subject before banning, this in addition to several other incidents on the past. This is really FFP's first infraction, so I'm not sure it is fair to ban them just yet, but the mods are discussing it, and I have PMed them with a warning.

I think you should leave the FFP post. It shows people their tactics and the way they work. They are completely unethical.
Max's posts may have been out of line though I suspect it was more that he ignored the mods and kept it going after he was told to stop. But he did contribute to the board and nothing he did was all that bad (been here long enough to have some perspective).

Censorship hurts us all.

As far as FFP goes, I think their posting of Max's personal information and emails has put this site in a more dangerous legal position than any of Max's posts ever did.

As far as engine woes go, he found a pretty good deal on a complete brand new VQ35DE with one little scratch on it for $5500........whether he remains boosted or not is the question

Well, it didn't seem to matter to them they link to your forum from their site still, talk about "rehashing." It seems it's still being done by others but in his case it was wrong? Hard for me to figure out since lots of posts are edited or deleted.

we have no control over what goes on his site. if we did itd be gone. but obviously we dont, as you see he has 2 strikes, does he have a link to his site in his sig or otherwise in his profile? if so then I agree we may have a problem here.

just checked, he has no links to his website that I can see, if you see one which he's posted let me know. he hasnt been around in 8 days(minus the post we deleted and he was warned for). if he brings this subject up again Ill warn him right now, he's gone; gaurenteed.
