I'm not the type to bring this into the open but I don't know which moderator to contact on the subject. If this needs to be private, this thread can be deleted if I can get a PM letting me know what's up.

A few days ago BR Race Eng became a sponsor on BamaGZ.com, and a few members from this site were refered to our site to get their name on a list of people interested in the harness bar.

I have noticed that the original thread is gone, and there are no posts by BR Race Eng any more on my350z. Can someone give me the heads up on what went down?

If "BR Race Eng" is not a sponsor on My350z, chances are his, or whoever created it, thread was removed. Linking to other sites for profit and using My350z.com as an advertisement tool, without paid sponsorship is prohibited. This would be my best guess...

 

Thanks VO, I am aware of the rules and how the mods here handle these situations. He is a paying vendor on our site, so I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt.

If any other mods that had part in closing the thread in question have anything to add please chime in.

He became a vendor on BamaGZ and two members from my350z have joined to sign up on his list of interested buyers. One member claimed to have gotten a PM on here refering him to BamaGZ to get on said list.

 

Yes sir, that's what I was refering to. He would have to be a sponsor on My350z.com, in order to link or make any advertisements what-so-ever for group buys anywhere. This would also apply for user's posting links to other sites. It's all considered utilitzing this site for advertising. Without paying to advertise on this site, for bulk profit, it would be considered unfair to our paying vendors. Sorrry my man, I don't make the rules...

 

Trust me I understand and was just making sure that was the reason for closing the thread and not something else. Sorry for the confusion.

Just out of curiosity, are the prices to become a sponsor on this site a lot higher than others?

 

I didn't remove the threads(not my section), but I'm sure that's the reason.

I'm really not sure what vendor fees are to be honest. I really don't get involved in that aspect of the site...

Gustav interrupted our plans to do it on the riverboat in N.O. but we got all the deposits back and did it close to home. No complaints so far. We were actually back down there in January, can't get enough of it. Hopefully talk her into that long ride in the Z and meeting up at the lake with the NOLAZCC eventually.
