It sounds like my350z has the same worthless IT people that I have at work. I'm surprised they haven't suggested we cut our computer on and off and see if that fixes it.
Between the search function and the pathetic mobile version, the IT people should seriously be embarrassed with the product they are delivering. You wouldn't expect this quality on a site with so many members and visits.
Think about how slow is the entire site going to run with even more 'will a double DIN fit in the cubby' and 'how many HP will a K&N filter give me?'.

I don't buy that BS response. How is it possible that they were so sensitive to the forum being slow (which I personally never experienced) but then so callously implemented a new search and never bothered to test whether or not it worked? Smells like this change was made to reduce server load on an old (or worse share hosted) box vs. what's in the best interest of the forum members...
ROFL. I agree with you guys and I have been on them for a while now. I'll go harass them about it again.
Yeah it's a bit counterproductive now since people can't find info that's already been posted, they'll post up even more threads asking the same old questions instead of manually going through each page so in effect it'll bloat the site even more and make it worse than it ever was.
Oh and wth is with that search notice, getting it every single time I log in now despite me clicking it each time. Is this a sick joke from the tech guys?

Yea this is kind of frustrating. I can't search for anything It just never finds any results. I searched for "Cams" in the engine classifieds and it found none. When there is clearly a thread on the first page with "cams" in its title.
Use Google until this is fixed.
Example: If you are searching a specific site for BC Coilovers --> bc coilovers site:my350z.com
Just replace bc coilovers with whatever you are searching for.
