How to add a .doc to a thread

Smile How to add a .doc to a thread

I started a new thread in the installation section and I don't know how to add the .doc file, can any one help, I'm new to this.

When you're creating a new post, hit the "Manage Attachments" button and upload it from there.

I tried that but my file is to big, I notice that I can upload a URL, how do I create a URL from my .doc file

You would have to have an account where you could place the file and link to it. For instance, I have a MobileMe (Apple) account where I can place the file and then a link is created that will allow a download of that file. If you want, I could put it on mine and send you the link if you don't find an easier way to do it.
