Yes, because IB knows from the get-go that these vendors were going to do this when the vendors approached them about sponsorships.

Also, it is the buyers' responsibility to protect themselves, not the forum's or IB's. The forum staff has taken enough initiative to prevent scammers. That doesn't mean that we're going to hold your hands throughout every transaction. Additionally, do you expect the forum or IB to kick off every vendor that makes a mistake off the forum? You're asking for a perfect world that cannot and will not exist on any internet forum or anywhere for that matter.

I'm on my fair share of large forums.....somehow Showtime was here for a LONG while after he was jerking customers around....same with CRG....and now more and more threads are popping up about M1A. Like I said...(can't remember if it was this thread or another) but it's not that we (at least I don't) fault a vendor for a problem, if it is truly a mistake. But freaking own up to that mistake, communicate and let the buyer know the problem....or stop bumping your for sale threads and garnering more business when you can't handle the business you already have.

Funny how this problem rarely exists on any other major forum I'm on with its vendors. But it seems like people here keep having problems with the same vendors and these vendors are still allowed to bump their for sale threads, continue using this site as an outlet to do business, all the while needing multiple attempts for a customer to actually GET ANY INFO out of the vendor about a product they've been waiting on and getting the run around about.

I actually agree with what you said. I don't think it's proper for them to use this site as a medium for attracting more business if they can't even handle the amount of current business they have. Honestly, how hard is it really to contact your customers with updates?

Anyway, if they keep this up, trust me they'll get the boot. It's been done before and it will happen again. I guess IB is just a bit less strict. However, mods and admins do take notice and help out as much as we can and we talk directly to IB about these issues.

I actually just got off the phone with Peter at M1 and they are just very very busy, he has so many custom jobs going on for so many people it is difficult to give everyone daily personal service essentially.

dont worry they will get your issues handled.

It may not seem like its a big deal to lose a single customer and Even though Im only one customer at m1autosport...I started posting on this thread and created a new one so most customers would know extactly what they could potentially face. I got no follow-ups by anyone at m1autosport despite my calls, pms, or posts in the last 2-3weeks. Time after time, I was promised certain deadlines of when I could expect my products..however I got nothing my broken deadlines and broken promises. I have most of the pms where you can clearly see the salesmen say that my products were finished and were being shipped out by a cartain time and yet I got NO results. I simply asked for some pictures of my products and never got any. I got to the point where I began to wonder if my parts were even started on. You could see how my posts went unanswered and even ignored until I made the new thread. So you the READER, would you blame me for making a new thread to address my issues? Or for calling attention to this matter?Im sure most customers would appreciate the follow ups if a company cant the deliver on their products by a certain time.
All i asked for were just... Answers. But when you cant even got those, thats when everything becomes an issue.

Truly I thank all of you for your comments and the attention you brought to this issue. Peter and everyone at m1autosport is well aware of the problems they face. Peter is working to get everything resolved and im looking forward to having my parts delievered by next week.
