Anyone should get flamed for making "So I was racing some guy when..." or "A stupid cop pulled me over for.." threads. It's fairly obvious that teens are more likely to act immature.

But it's completely true that there are some teens out there that are fairly competent drivers. I'm 19 (probably shouldn't tell you guys this) and I feel like I'm in the minority when it comes to my driving technique. I don't speed that often and its 5-10 over when I do, every time some idiot in a Honda tries to "race" me, I just ignore them, and I pay attention. But I also pay my own bills, and I have to pay for my Z with money I worked and suffered for, so I'm more inclined to treat my car like royalty.
I dunno, I guess I don't feel like I have to prove I have ***** on the street, and I'm perfectly happy going to a drag strip to relieve stress.

But this guy should just suck it up and take the beatings, because it's like a Fraternity in here.

I don't expect kids to understand why we hate them. It's something you won't notice until you get older. You'll look back and say, "Holy crap, I was a douchebag!"

We all did it. We were all obnoxious kids who thought we were entitled to something at some point. Unless you were one of those "my parents died when I was 2 and I had to live on the street and sell my sex to stay alive" kind of people.

So we're not asking you to understand why we make fun of you, we just want you to bend over and take it like you should. You'll figure it out some day.

Why don't you all have an intelligent conversation with the OP and act your age? You reap what you sow (this goes for all of you). Harassing, flaming, cursing, etc from anybody (young, old, male, female, transgender, etc), so keep this thread clean.

If you can't type out a coherent reply without the use of unnecessary negativity directed at somebody or a select group, you're worse than those you're flaming.

I only payed the insurance and gas for my Z and I dont deserve anywhere near the respect of the guys who worked for their Zs.

So why should I respect a KID whos parents bought him the car and pay for everything related to it, when Ive put work/effort into it than them?

Thats like saying we should respect a trust fund baby when they hit it big just because they have as much money as me after I spent the last 10-20 years working my azz off to get it.

FWIW, I've seen people here over the last couple years get treated how they treat other people. If you come stomping in here making a big scene and calling out mods as a new member, we see you like a convict sees "fresh fish". Basically, no one is going to like you. Not even your fellow teens as was exemplified in R3VAN's posts. We all get along pretty well when it comes to dealing with this type of situation.

My advice would be to change your attitude and grow up so you don't have a problem here since you plan to buy a G37 when you get out of school.

i think everyone needs a wake up call, myself included, instead of bickering over a topic such as this why dont we close this thread and try to act like adults. its not always the kids who make scenes but sometimes some of our older members are a bit immature as well. maybe if we all ban together as a forum and community, age will not be a problem in the future, heres a solution, do something stupid and tell people what they did wrong and maybe how they can fix it in your own honest opinion. if they continue on that path then flame away.
other communities and forums im associated with dont act like this at all and it shames me to see my fellow Z owners torn apart by age, time for everyone to grow up.
