2.) DISCRIMINATION
The forum has people from many walks of life. People's religion, race, political beliefs, age, sexual preference, etc., vary immensely. Please be mature and caring towards others. Offenders will receive one warning only and failure to comply after that will result in being banned. If you have a personal problem with someone on the forum resolve it by private messaging. - NOT on this board or posting in the forum. MY350Z.COM will not tolerate abuse (e.g. racial slurs, etc.) of another member.
Now mods like Nuki06FireZ are enforcing these rules which I applaud, but still younger drivers such as myself are not being defended when younger drivers are being attacked by older z owners on threads such as mid-life crisis and This pertains to the "17 year olds getting Z's" debate... I made the mid-life crisis thread in response to the 17 year old thread. For getting attention to the matter I was banned for one month, and now i'm back to try to get more attention on it and to get the discrimination stopped. im a proud z owner and the next car i want to purchase after im done with school will be a G37 so ill be around for a while and i dont think this is acceptable. even some older members and sponsors think this is wrong and the mods should take a look at this. thank you.

15.) REHASHING
When a post is locked or deleted or when member account is suspended and/or banned, it is for a justified reason. Do NOT make another post in continuation of the locked/deleted posts or your account is subject to being banned. Do NOT make a new post demanding explanation of why a post was locked or deleted. If you would like explanation of a closed or deleted post, PM one of the moderators.
as for how i feel about kids under 18 driving that is not discrimination. i feel no one should even get a license until they are 18, and that is afer a mandatory driving school. no school=no license

Us westerners tend to be a bit proud and usually envy what we never had in comparison to eastern cultures.
So when someone is a bit garish about things, ie "I'm 18 and my dad just bought me a 350z" threads, the responses just build up and become attitudes. Once enough people build these attitudes it becomes unpopular to disagree, it's more of a popularity contest about who can make the funniest picture response more than anything, I mean, no one REALLY cars if there is a 18 year old 5000kms away with a 350z they didn't pay for, it's not going to ruin someones day.

I love the amateur psychologists we have here who want to dissect why people dislike the teenage drivers.
I can't speak for others, but here why I think it is stupid to say we hate because we are jealous that they had a mommy and daddy who bought them a sports car at 16 and we didint.
No I didn't have a mommy and daddy who bought me a nice car when I was a teenager. My mommy and daddy bought me 4 cars when I was that age. Brand new Eclipse at 16 and totalled it 4 months later. They have me a 280ZX and totalled it about 9 months later. Then a RX-7 that they took 6 months later when I got a speeding ticket. It was replaced with another 280ZX.
So no I am not jealous of a kid who was given a $15k 350Z at 16. I don't like this kid because he acts like a total b!tch. And a stupid one too. His first post back after being banned is a rehash of what he got banned for!
Which brings me to my next thought. It seems to me that when a thread that clearly violates a TOU is kept open and there is no discipline to the repeat offender, then it sends a message to everyone that it is open season to violate other TOUs. Let's say hypothetically I typed "Ritchie you are the biggest ******* pu$$y I have ever met". I can't rightfully be diciplined for a TOU violation if it was said in a thread that is a TOU violation itself.

im 20 now and have been a part of the z community since i was 16...and started driving my parents 03 350z to high school....it is the car i drive today and can honestly say i dont experience much hate nor am i offended by older guys saying they hate young and irresponsible drivers....because i ont fall into that category at all..
Good cuz we are really worried that there won't be anything left for you when you retire. It is far better to give than receive....Thank you for paying for part of my Vortech, I will think of you and your contribution every time I hear it spool up!!
Why is everyone acting like he really cares about the issue? Are you all senile? Did you not see the arrogance of his post? He doesn't care about how the teens here are treated.

For you "older members" who are behind him, apparently you didn't read some of the commentary from his other thread. I wouldn't be surprised if I went through all of his posts and found nothing but incindiary comments and flaming. Oh and I know why someone important here has his back.

Anyway, if you don't want to be treated like a douche, don't come in here trying to make waves and you will be fine. The teens are easy to spot for the most part because a lot of them act like teens (arrogance, poor spelling, lack of research, ect...). You want respect from adults then you have to act like one- even if you aren't, which is clearly indicated by the first few lines of this thread. Kicking and screaming is only going further damage your reputation here.
Do you really think you are going to change someone's mind with this forceful and agressive approach and by skating around the TOU when it suits your purpose?

i think everyone needs a wake up call, myself included, instead of bickering over a topic such as this why dont we close this thread and try to act like adults. its not always the kids who make scenes but sometimes some of our older members are a bit immature as well. maybe if we all ban together as a forum and community, age will not be a problem in the future, heres a solution, do something stupid and tell people what they did wrong and maybe how they can fix it in your own honest opinion. if they continue on that path then flame away.

I don't know if it's just me, but I read this thread as "let's stop the age discrimination." That is, I didn't consider this a rehash thread as I thought he was wanting some sort of a civil way to discuss a method for implementing a forum-wide change.
He was banned for harassing other members and for useless posts, I believe. Since he's doing neither here, there's no "rehashing."
Personally, I don't care if some kid is getting flamed for bragging about a car he didn't pay for. I just don't want to have to read that when I'm browsing the forum.
