Can you help me letting me know what you think about this case. But first, my english is not my first language so sorry if I make some mistakes.

Ok, I've put an ad on this site about a set of four front track wheel model v1: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...x8-0-only.html

Someone contact me saying he is interested in 2 wheels and he is located in Ontario Canada. I'm located in Montreal Canada. After few pm, he decided to finally take one wheel. I said ok, and closed the deal for 250$ shipped from Montreal to Scarbourough which is not far from his location.

He made the payment 03 January 2010 and I shipped the package same day. Shipping company was Greyhound Express Courrier. I've well packed the wheel for the shipping. Package was supposed to arrive next day which is 04 Jan 2010. Since then, never spoke with with guy.

Now, the 6th of February 2010 (1 month later!), I've received an email from Paypal saying buyer of my wheel open a complaint and they put on hold 250$ on my account. In the message, he said he 'never received the item and I have to check the problem with the shipping company '. I precise here he never contact me after 1 month and 3 days of the expecting date of arrival of the package to Scarborough.

So I've contacted the Greyhound to know what's hapening. And since he open a complaint I've always send him message to letting him what's hapening. After few days speaking with the courrier company and investigation on their side they finally send me a fax of the paper the consignee much sign to pick-up a package. Pick-up date is 05 Jan 2010!!! This paper is signed by the buyer who told me he NEVER received the package. Another precision: you much show an ID before Greyhound release the package.

Now I've sent a wheel, I have the proof (waybill in hand). Greyhound send me a fax which is another proof (same waybill consignee side) stating buyer picked the package up the2 days after I've sent it. And now Paypal put on hold 250$ on my account!

Sounds like he's trying to scam you. Submit the proof to Paypal and hope for the best.

I agree with the above staements, if you have proof, your golden. Your best bet is to call them, speak with a manager.

 

when you say ' call them', you mean Paypal?

rx50cent open the complaint, I've decided to escalade to a dispute claim with Paypal. I have all the papers prove all my statements.

 

Yup, he is trying to screw you over! That is why I take the money out of my PayPal the second the money is sent to me.

BTW, your English and grammar is still far better than most of the US born members we have.
