Default FireFox Back Button Problems anyone?

I tried a search and didn't see anyone bring this up. Whenever I surf this site, after getting to a thread or two, the back button on firefox (v3.6.13) just doesn't work. My shortcut button on my mouse doesn't have an impact and clicking on the blue back arrow icon doesn't affect it either. The only sure way of forcing the current page to go back is for me to click on the drop down arrow and selecting the specific page I want to back to. I tried it on 3 different machines and no luck. The problem is sporadic too. Its hard to imagine it is just me.

I don't think that's a forum issue as I'm currently using FF 3.6.15 myself and I'm not experiencing any issues.

Maybe clear your temp files and cache and maybe even reinstall/update FF?

I never use the back button when browsing forums. I'd assume since you're posting it here that you only experience it on these forums? Is there anywhere else you really use the back button?

I have noticed this problem too. It only ever happens when I'm not logged in. Happens on every computer I have used in the past probably 3 months that isn't mine.

The problem I noticed is that you have to press the back button twice to go back one page.

Here is a vid of the problem. Notice I only experience the issue when I am logged out.

Its not only firefox because Im having the same problem with IE. I just figured it was because of an ad on the page somewhere. It is annoying though.

I've seen this problem b4, I can show up on a random page and all of a sudden the back button is worthless.

IB techs have been notified so hopefully they'll chime in.

Yes and I think I found the problem. It looks like it has something to do with the Facebook plugin. I had to hit back 3 times before it actually changed the page.
