Him being banned doesn't really have much in the way of implications on the paypal dispute.

 

yes i understand that but he said he will let paypal handle. does it mean the buyer already lost his money? I mean paypal probably wont do anything about it since the item arrived! I bought a gps online once and it didnt work. File paypal but they didnt help much because the seller has proof that he sent the item. And he said he is selling his as no refund item.

The fact that the product was not what was advertised and it's condition should help in his case. The packaging would have to been utterly destroyed for the pipes to be damaged in that manor.

Its going to be tough for him to get his money back. I bought something on ebay and the seller shipped it but i never received it but it was marked as delivered. Since it wasn't insured i was SOL since he had proof it was signed for.

 

I do feel bad for the OP, and hope he gets his money back. Not sure how POWUH slipped through the cracks the past few scams.

I sent you a message yesterday before you went online for numerous time in the forum and you didn't bother to reply me. Assuming you in my position afraid of losing $190 to a total stranger, would you file a dispute with paypal first or wait for a response from seller for a week? I think everyone here does agreed that the damage we seen on the pipes is no way caused by the courier unless the whole box was crushed or something. When I received the parcel, the box was in a very good condition, not even a scratch on it. Unless the courier guy cut open the box carefully, took the pipes out and dragged the pipes under his truck, then put them back into the box and seal it carefully. Well, which scenario is more likely to happen? Powuh scamming me or courier guy hating me?

 

He's already banned. PayPal generally sides with the buyer. Present an intelligent case and I'm sure you will get your money back. Good luck.

many of them are on this forum so be careful. i am not saying majority of members are but i am saying many of them are. Long ago i almost got scammed from a guy on this forum also living in California, San diego. I dont know if people remember him. he has a black 350z. he always trying to sell rims and exhaust. cracked rims!!! and Beat up exhaust!!
