My pages never finish loading. They show:

"Waiting for www.google-analytics.com..."

the whole time I'm on a page. It'll load the page but it'll keep loading forever and shows that on the status bar.

On Chrome.

Same $h!t, different day. Happened 4 times today so far...

Maybe instead of the silly video game power-up bars, IB could fix the problems first before wasting time on eye candy?

It's been happening here too...

I don't mind the power-up bars, that's something that an admin can add to the site and manage himself.
This issue seems to be with the servers hosting the forum, which is something that IB has to address.

IB has made some improvements to the database indexing in the past few days, which has helped reduce the errors where you get the IB screen indicating a database error. I am no longer seeing those database error message screens.

We still have some slowness and 503 errors, so they are working to resolve this as well by sourcing new, upgraded hardware for running the site. Hardware migrations can't happen overnight for a site like this where 24/7 availability is a concern, so it will take a short while for the necessary steps (purchase, receive, build, test, implement/migrate) to be completed as well.

I just wanted to share this in the thread so that you all knew that there is active work going on to resolve the issues.

Thanks, and we appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work to resolve these issues.

I have noticed a large improvement today! This sight was hella SLOOOW! Lots of 503 errors!

Not to mention you would complete a post & it would redirect you to send it again.

Nice to be able to browse some pages & actually believe I have RR and not dial up!!!!

I am still getting the database error page - but less frequently. It happened twice yesterday and once on Saturday.

I blame lulzsec and anonymous for all the forum database problems we've been having.

hey everyone,

definitely something up today, and specifically with the my350z database, none of the other Nissangroup sites seem to be affected in the same manner. Our UNIX team have all been alerted, and hopefully the issue is found and resolved today.

cheers,
robb
