I am new to this Forum. I noticed on the left hand side, under my user name when I make a post, there is something that says "Points, Level, and Today's Activity".

How are these things calculated? How do I improve them?

I apologize if this has been previously discussed. I did a search and did not find anything. If this has already been answered, a link to that thread would be greatly appreciated.
