Hello everybody,

I am looking into possibly selling tie rod spacers/wheel spacers on this forum. The forums I am currently on do not charge for selling items so this process is new to me.

So, would this constitute as a "commercial sale" and require a vendor membership even though we are not a full blown business? If it does, I saw something about a quota, which requires the vendors to have 3 active threads on the subforums, which I would not be able to make due to selling only 2 items. This seems odd and would leave me sort of in-between the two accounts (member/vendor).

Hoping a mod or somebody with some knowledge on the subject can clear things up for me! If needed I can link to my for sale ad on the BMW forum so you can get a better idea of what I am asking.

Basically, yes, if you want to sell items even though you are not a "full fledged" business you must still become a vendor.

There's a limit on threads per sub-forum for vendors, not a quota.
