This board has a large amount of users and posts. When the database becomes very large as it is now, the site will run very slow and searches will absolutely kill the server.

As much as I like seeing the old threads from 2002 etc, it is probably necessary to prune the database off. Each forum should not have more than 6-7 pages of posts in the index. Either this needs to be done or there needs to be more servers.
