Does the owner put any money into this site at all?
Its just this site has become unbearably slow at times. Right now its taking at least 30-45 seconds for 1 page to load up and im on high speed. Everytime this site has over 200 people on it its bogs down beyond belief. Anything above 250-275ish members and the site crashes.
I know sponsors put good money into this site so I was just wondering if the owner will ever upgrade the server or something. Im sure im not the only one who wonders this.
The only time Tako seems to take any interest in this site is when someone posts something about exotic cars.
P.S. My point was just exactly made. Im sitting here trying edit my post and it took 2 minutes after I pressed the save changes buttton just to have the data base error pull up because too many users are on and the server cant take it....
Well lets see if it will go through this time..

Its funny I was just wondering about this same subject yesterday.

the problem is people are used to this site.. for many change is scary .. people are in their comfort zone here. I pop in from time to time, and its funny to seen 20% of the threads are complaints about the site. 70% are not even z/car related. that leaves a whole 10% of the threads left to discuss cars and z's. oh yeah 5% are duplicate threads/questions.
I guess I took some offense to the comments about only 5% of the content here being "threads left to discuss cars."
I think thats B.S. and I think the OT section here is great and adds to a sight like this as well.

I'm relatively new here and am starting to go to the **cough** "other site" **cough** just because the load times are so slow. I really like this forum and layout but the load times are painfully slow like a 28.8 modem.

The site is a bit slow at times. True,
But this is without a doubt the most informative and active 350z site around.
When I visit the regional forum on 350zmotoring its lame.
Hardly active at all. Who wants to wait days for a post or new thread ?
