weird, it takes about 30seconds or more for me to open a post on this site, while only about 5 seconds on my site.

Actually, ALL of the other 350Z related sites are a lot faster than this one.

I did notice something interesting a couple of days ago, at the bottom of the main forum page where it lists the currently logged in users was "350z_tako" in bold. So he does visit the site on occasion. I wonder if he bothered to look at this FeedBack forum.

Hey dave - long time no see.

I noticed that in his Takos profile too. I guess as long as the money keeps rolling in, he's not to worried about what goes on here.

As I expressed earlier, I suspect that Mike/Vic is under orders to not respond to criticism or questions about how the site is run or managed.

Dave,

Not sure about Saturday. A friend is graduating from LSU this summer and she's having a party Saturday afternoon. Not sure if I can squeeze both in.

Is there a way to impeach the site admin / owner?

this is plain ridiculous... it is also ridiculous to suggest that members pay here...sponsors pay a CRAPLOAD of money per month because this site houses the most 350z members. Why should members have to pay when the site NEEDS us. See, it's simple. without us, no sponsors, and no money in the pockets of the owners. I dont see why the owners cant upgrade the site....they are digging their own grave. you need to reinvest in your product if you want to surrvive. I was told that sponsors pay a minimum of $500/month!! C'mon guys, DO THE MATH! We are being screwed....If this is the case, I cant believe we are still in 56k world and running one of the oldest versions of vbulliten.

i agree with synth. i for one wouldn't pay a dime to be here. i've given many of the sponsors my business...they should be paying for this stuff. i get the feeling that someone is just collecting money from this site and not putting *any* of that money back into it.

I was debating putting a 350z forum up, and unless I was killing my bandwidth limit (50gb) I would have no sponsors.

Problem is... I would really love to take a data dump of the threads at my350z and import them. I would hate to start from new...

Thoughts?

I have been here since there were under 50 members and at least 6 months before the first pre-orders deliveries. Nothing has changed in 2 and half years. You people need to realize this site is going to always remain this way because there is no incentive for change.

I started one of the first sites "other" 350z sites and I have worked hard (at times) to provide a new home for people. At least 20 "other" people have started 350z sites and all they need are people to post. If you are so addicted to this site try posting any new topics you have to these other sites, I guarantee on at least half of them you will see an honest attempt to help you. There are so many options today for 350 sites that you don't have to even come here.

If you are so unhappy move on, otherwise let it be and don't create another thread to drag down the system.

My 2 cents....

I have to say this site is not that slow. It's not the fastest site, it's average out of the forums that I go to regularly. I have 1.5m DSL, so I don't think the server needs upgrade, it might have something to do with your browser's config or you isp.

thats too funny!
if you read my privious post in here i said i had looked into being a sponsor....as i was running the parts department at my store
...i cant give an exact number as since it isnt forum knowledge

but as i said earlier a crawford intake plenum (or kinetix plenum)
is more expensive for a 3 month sponsorship

500 a month?try alot closer to 500 every six months
