We've talked about this to death. Well I am getting tired of this. Not only is the site *** slow but now 65% of the time I can't get to it. I get that damn server too many users error.

I like the content and users here but man this is just too frusterating. I am gonna have to bail and find a site that has the usability of something in this decade.

Call me a whiny beeaatch, but this sucks. And it sucks that the owners don't seem to care. Whenever a magazine starts to get sloppy/crappy I cancel my subscription. Well it's time to cancel this web based one.

Yeah, I get a lot of database errors too. I always get good info here, and there are always interesting posts...so I won't stop coming.

BUT!

No idea who the owners are, but if you read this...you may want to [if you haven't already] look into signing up with Google AdSense. Basically it's a Cost Per Click system, where you put a snippet of code within the my350z.com forum or site [perhaps on the left side] which displays Ads relating to what copy is on the perticular page [or thread]. And google will send you a check every month, with the size depending on how many clicks your Ads get.

I know a lot of people making good money doing this with sites much smaller than this one. Maybe you can make some extra money and upgrade your hosting, you can get a decent dedicated server for $400.00 a month. At my work we have two dedicated servers with hundreds of sites hosted on them.

 

synergytheory, money isn't a issue dude. Not with what it costs the sponsors to have ads here.

 

Try being a mod that gets griped at for problems he/she can do absolutely nothing about.

And remember, you're not paying for the site. If it's free, then sometimes you have to take what you can get.

 

everybody knows where the problem lays , I dont think anyone blames the mods here..

people have spoken , I dont know why the sponsors havent ...
nothing ever gets fixed , almost every weekend - site is down , if the people/person in charge cant handle the responsibilities anymore - step down..

and as for " its free - dont complaint "
dont try to make us feel like this site is doing US a favor..
without the members - you have nothing , dont take us for granted ...
